WICKEED STONES was founded by Tunji Akande in 2013. Tunji, who is the creative director of the company, is a graduate of International Relation from Babcock University, where he bagged a Second Class Upper degree. He also holds a master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos.

He is certified In Sales and Marketing Management and Entrepreneurship Management, both from Pan Atlantic University (Lagos Business School / Enterprise Development Center). The young Nigerian entrepreneur is passionate about creating top notch Jewelry and accessories for the fashion industry, and that passion saw him through to the finals as a contestant on a Business Reality Show “The Next Titan Entrepreneurial TV Show, season I”..

In 2015, out of thousands that applied he was among the 10 entrepreneurs given a business grant by the telecommunication giant, Etisalat, which aided the growth of his company. In January 2016 he was also one of the few that qualified for a fund by Tonu Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme out of thousands around Africa that applied. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he worked in the corporate world for over four years, before he resigned and decided to fully face his passion in Jewelry making, design and production..
